Theresa and Matt’s wedding day in Christchurch was a beautiful blend of tradition, family, and relaxed celebration, captured across some of the city’s most timeless locations.
Their celebrations began with a Catholic Mass at St Teresa’s Catholic Church, where they were surrounded by family and friends as they exchanged their vows. The ceremony carried a deep sense of reverence and joy, setting the tone for the rest of the day.
After the Mass, we made our way to the Christchurch Botanic Gardens for bridal portraits. The gardens offered a calm, classic backdrop - soft greenery, open light, and quiet pathways that allowed Theresa and Matt to simply enjoy a moment together as newlyweds.
The celebrations continued at Omarino Estate, a stunning vineyard venue just outside the city. With its relaxed elegance and beautiful rural surroundings, it was the perfect setting for their reception and the cutting of the cake, bringing the day to a joyful close.
If you’re planning a wedding in Canterbury (or anywhere in New Zealand) whether it’s a traditional church ceremony or something closer to home - I’d love to capture it for you.
