Christine and Tim’s wedding day in Christchurch was filled with love, laughter, and a gentle, joyful energy that carried through every moment.
Their wedding Mass took place at St Teresa’s Catholic Church, a meaningful and elegant space that set the tone for a deeply heartfelt celebration. Surrounded by family and friends, Christine and Tim exchanged their vows and participated in the Mass celebrated by Fr Michael Therese, in an atmosphere filled with reverenced warmth.
Following the ceremony, we made our way to the stunning Christchurch Botanic Gardens for portraits. The gardens provided the perfect backdrop - soft greenery, timeless pathways, and a calm atmosphere that reflected the feel of the day. Somewhere in between portraits and wandering through the gardens, there may have even been a sneaky little first dance practice, adding a beautiful and light-hearted moment to the afternoon.
The reception at Riccarton Park Events Centre carried that same elegant yet relaxed energy as guests came together to honour Christine and Tim’s marriage.
Every detail of the day was thoughtfully brought together - from Christine’s beautiful styling by Lauren Maynard, to the romantic floral work by Mädler Rose Floral, which complemented the soft, elegant tone of the celebration perfectly.
It was a wedding day shaped by love, family, and quiet, meaningful moments.
If you’re planning a wedding in Christchurch (or anywhere in New Zealand) whether it’s a traditional church ceremony or a relaxed celebration with family and friends, I’d love to capture it for you.
